Where, When and How did it all begin?

The beginnings of this vast universe and world we live in is a question that has come to the forefront of our society today. It is one question that I believe is very important to grasp and understand when it comes to Evangelizing our Youth in the 21st Century. I would like to start this discussion off with a story which involves a personal experience which took place within my life in my sophomore year of High School in 1990. I can remember the day as if it were yesterday. I was in biology class listening to my teacher eloquently explain why evolution was much more then a theory but a fact. He instructed us all how we were simply a product of chance and had evolved in some form from apes. I can remember believing what he said as fact and just accepting it as truth because I had not been raised in a Christian home and taught the true history of this world. Although, in the midst of the indoctrination, one courageous girl by the name of Leann Abner stood up and boldly said to the class,
"Mr. York you are wrong, God created man from the dust of the ground". At that point I proceeded to criticize the girl and along with the rest of the class told her to just shut up and listen to the teacher because of course he was the biology teacher and she was nothing more then a 10th grader. Fast forward 18 years and to this day I still remember that day and even her name. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life in 1996 and ever since, the question of origins has been a passion of mine. In 2008 those biology classes, television programs, colleges and universities are ten times more passionate and bias towards evolution then they were in 1990.  That is why I believe that we as Christians cannot overlook this question of origins because our children and youth are not.  If we do not take the time to teach the bias within the media and many other sources which desire to indoctrinate the next generation with humanistic atheistic beliefs we will loose these Youth.  In Ken Hams book THE LIE EVOLUTION which you can find within my link to BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS he states, "Every single Biblical doctrine of theology, directly or indirectly, ultimately has its basis in the book of GENESIS." Author and Creation Evangelist Ken Ham gives an excellent example of two cultures within our past. One could compare the Greek Culture with the Jewish Culture when the Apostle Paul was preaching within the book of Acts. When reading in Acts 13 Paul preached Jesus as the Christ in the synagogue.  In Acts 14 and 17 Paul preached the Creator God to the Gentiles.  The Jewish culture had an understanding of a Creator God therefore the sequence of accepting Jesus as the Christ came more naturally. Although, within the Greek culture they did not believe in a Creator God and followed more of a evolution framework. In closing I would make the argument that the culture we live in today is more indicative of the Greek culture embracing a evolution mindset. That is why we need to follow the Apostle Paul example and not lose sight of Creation Evangelism for our Youth.  I have included other resources within the Bountiful Blessings link that I pray will inform and transform our minds in regards to this subject.
