I am including within this post a link to an op-ed that was written by J. Michael Smith of the Home School Legal Defense Association in regards to a possible grave threat to parents who share in my desire to Evangelize the Youth. Our incoming presidential administration has expressed the desire to see this matter become law and that would be a travesty.  The Global Poverty Act sounds like such a humanitarian feel good effort, but entrenched deep within it is a treaty entitled the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. As informed Christian Parents concerned about our future parental rights and culture alike I am encouraging you to follow this link and educate yourselves to the dangers of this Act which would enact a treaty which would certainly infringe upon our God Given responsibilities to train up a child on the right path in order that when they are older, they will not depart.(Prv 22:6) If we do not stand up in the public forum and fight professionally, peacefully and prayerfully against the obstacles of the enemy then how can we expect to preserve the rights this country was founded upon.
