I have something to get off my chest with the body of Christ and president Barack Obama. I wish that Christians will stop crying about all these OBAMA-NATIONS of the president elect Barack Obama and PRAY. Then we will let GOD do His work to hopefully change the heart of the man or get let GOD rid of him!!!

It is so irritating to hear so called Spirit filled Christians complain about so much stuff of ONE MAN!!! Is not GOD greater than any man??? Evidently, GOD is either testing the faith of the body of Christ or GOD is allowing America and Christians in America be cursed for the next 4 to 8 years!!!

HECK, I'm not hearing anything coming from the body of Christ to preach the Love of GOD for president elect OBAMA, that the OBAMA family be made whole. I'm not hearing the body of Christ having any regards to human life for OBAMA, being that the white supremest groups have created a HIT POOL against OBAMA to see who will be the group to take him out before the inauguration in January 2009!!! OH!!! BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT THAT HIS LIFE IS BEING THREATENED TO THAT EXTENT!!! AND THAT THE Supremest HAVE EVEN PLANNED TO INCREASE THERE TARGET ON INNOCENT BLACK AMERICANS AND MINORITIES!!!

IT IS DONE CHRISTIANS!!! IF OBAMA IS SUCH AN OBAMA-NATION TO AMERICA, ASK GOD TO SAVE/ DELIVER AND HEAL HIM OR ASK GOD TO REMOVE HIM BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!

Heck...if you know anything about American government, is that America IS NOT like North Korea or Russia or Cuba where that countries leader is King of that country. Every president in America has come to realize that they ARE NOT ALL THAT IN CHARGE!!! Our presidents have to many other layers that can hender his decisions.

Thank you for allowing me to speak.
Mark

Wow, Jon! It truly is like the song "Faces"! If I had known back then the impact I was having on your life! I am now the mother of a wonderful five-year-old little boy and a Social Studies teacher. My son goes to Immanuel Lutheran in Hamilton and I teach at a charter school for underprivileged kids in Cincinnati. We attend Immanuel Baptist in Hamilton (the big white church up the hill from Hamilton High) and are actually gearing up for our big roles in the Christmas program. I invite you and your family to attend - Dec 13, 14, 19 or 20.
I lost my first husband and my boyfriend (that sounds so silly to say at my age...LOL!) actually found this blog. I was stunned! I am not very good at out and out witnessing so to know my actions spoke for me even in high school...again...WOW! I am going to give this website to the Youth Leader at our church as a resource.
Now that I know you are out there and what you are doing for God...I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless You my friend and brother in Christ!

This letter is very fitting for the tough times that we, Americans, are going though. I hear a lot of my neighbors and friends complaining about the tough times. People need to realize that although America has seen better times, things could be much worse. This great country allows people to forget how much of the world lives. Even in this bad times, life here in America is many times great better than much of the rest of the world. I hope that the American people can see how good life is and give praise to the Lord for His Blessing.

It is surprising that even today many churches insist that young children be ushered off to "child care" while youth and adults remain in the main service. With good intentions, many churches are concerned that children will disrupt the service or be a distraction. The problem is that it results in an immediate separation of the family, it doesn't give children the opportunity to ask their parents questions and it gives a false idea to children that they don't belong with their family. Whether they are able to fully understand or sit completely still without causing minimal distraction should not be the focus of a church. Strengthening families by supplying them with the love of God and knowledge of His word should be the priority.
I agree with Henry that we as parents must start out early presenting God in the form of scripture study and church to our children; so that His love and guidance will be embedded in the foundation of our children's lives. We do this with diet, exercise and social activities (play dates included) with a hope that healthy diet and exercise habits, along with good social skills will prevail. Why would we not ensure our children's eternal lives by equipping then with a solid foundation based on Gods Word and Love? It is our responsibility, because God has entrusted them to us!
I encourage us to all pray for parents that we would not only guide our children to God, but that we would spend time daily teaching our children His word to equip them for the future. So that going to church would not only be the "natural order of life" but loving God and abiding in Him would have true and fully meaning to our children.
In His Name...

We could never take our children into the church service. They wouldn't last."

I am surprised by how many parents wait until a child is five, or ten, or fifteen, before trying to have family scripture study, or take them to children.

Parents should not wait until the child can fulling understand what is being taught. Parents need to start the habit of scripture study and going to church, so children will accept these as the natural order of life.
