I wanted to share this article from Christian Post and their guest columnist Greg Stier. I truly believe this article hits the nail on the head in regards to mentoring youth This movement is after the hearts and minds of our youth and is truly contrary to a biblical worldview. I will continue to stand on my soap box, and speak loudly that youth evangelism has to start in the home, in order to equip our children to give a reason for the hope that lies within. Within this article Jan Markel speaks to the attempted merging of Christianity and Buddhism going on in a Christian college.

As many of you already know my wife and I have homeschooled our 5 children now for almost 10 years. I cannot say enough about the value of educating your children in a homeschool setting. First and foremost we have been given a tremendous opportunity to pour into our children a strong foundation based upon a biblical worldview. Secondly. study after study continues to show that homeschooled youth consistently score higher in testing that determines their readiness to learn at a higher level in the future. It is estimated that their our approximately 2 million children in the United States today who are being homeschooled. Praise God for the pioneers who paved the way in the beginning. Without their sacrifices normal hard working families like our family and yours who care about God, family and country would not have access to the myriad amount of resources today to assist us in our homeschool journey. As more and more Christian parents consider the option of homeschooling each year. It is my hope and prayer that the following Op-ed written by Michael Smith of the Home School Legal Defense Association would encourage and inform you about 3 major questions that every adult asks when considering homeschooling. It is my vision with EYC Ministries that youth evangelism according to a biblical worldview would help in ushering in a new Joshua Generation that would transform culture. In order for this to happen I truly believe homeschooling can and must play a large role in that vision.

Homeschooling: Some Tips to Help You Get Started

<!--

Subscribe to EYC Podcast at i Tunes and browse the EYC Resources Store for a myriad amount of tools available for purchase at rock bottom prices. As many churches continue to allow the post modern culture to creep into the pulpits it is my prayer and goal that Evangelism,Youth and Culture at WorldviewYouthEvangelism.com plays a role along with the remaining remnant of the flock. Brothers and sisters the Bible speaks of this remnant in Jeremiah chapter 23 as we hear about the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep, but Praise God He will gather the remnant and cause us to be fruitful and increase as we fear no more! 2 Tim 1:7 tells us "That God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind". With Evangelism, Youth and Culture's new site at WorldviewYouthEvangelism.com there is no place or time for fear only sound mind training according to a biblical worldview and a message of love and power according to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
<dc:subject>Evangelism</dc:subject>

Intentional Evangelism
EYC Ministries Podcast/ Tackles the question of Lifestyle Evangelism. Is it enough to reach a Post Modern Culture and its begining its meaning and its ending. We are constantly forced to abandon divine absolute truth in the name of political correctness, tolerance and diversity. Are young adults are walking away from the faith as the church continues to accept and even promote liberal theology. The battleground of worldviews has become imperative in regards to the future of the church as we know it. Whether one is talking about Humanism, Naturalism, Post Modernism, Marxism or many others the question rings true. "Are we as parents and mentors training and equipping our children in a Biblical worldview that is capable of standing firm against the ism's?" It is my fear, and in many aspects undeniable that one can make the argument that we are losing the battle. Youth Evangelism has continued to be more and more watered down as we look for ways to baby sit the young ones and entertain the older ones. By no means do I believe that the gospel and its message cannot be conveyed through entertainment but we must also understand that the youth of today want to and need to go deeper. Unfortunately due to the lack of strong doctrine our children are living in a post modern culture which believes truth is relative and not absolute, therefore if they are to survive and carry the torch through a dark and desolate world we must equip them. Jesus himself said in Matthew 22:37 that loving God with all our heart, soul and mind was the greatest commandment. Many of us adhere to this commandment when it comes to the heart and soul but the scripture refers to the mind as well, therefore we cannot leave out the importance of training the mind. As I write this post I am truly excited to share with many brothers and sisters a ministry that is breaking down barriers set up by the enemy and equipping the saints to turn the tide back as we move towards our ultimate victory. This ministry is Christian Worldview Network founded by Brannon Howse and Biblical worldview training is their focus and passion. I myself just recently had the opportunity to attend one of their free code blue rallies aimed at creating a sense of urgency in the culture in order stand against the enemy and fight for our Biblical foundations that originally blessed this country so. Many well known and respected Christian leaders such as Kay Arthur, Joel Rosenberg, Voddie Baucham, Kerby Anderson, David Barton and more have attached their efforts to this ministry as contributors and supporters. I am including a link to the free code blue rallies around the country as well as Christian Worldview Network. It is my sincere prayer and desire that each and every one of you who care about the future of our Judeo Christian culture in the same way many of our founders did, would follow these links and begin to understand the power of Youth Evangelism and culture transformation through Biblical worldview training.
http://www.christianworldviewnetwork.com/
http://codebluerally.com/

<!--
